Heat Exchanger Finned Tube

Heat exchanger finned tubes are highly efficient heat transfer elements. The base material is a titanium tube, and many heat dissipation fins are machined on the surface of the titanium tube, which greatly increases the contact area between the tube and the external fluid. This structural design greatly improves the heat transfer efficiency, allowing heat to be transferred faster between the medium inside and outside the tube.

Corrosion Resistance
The titanium on the surface of the heat exchanger finned tube reacts with oxygen to form titanium dioxide. This oxide film can prevent corrosive substances from reacting with the internal metal. Compared with stainless steel or copper tubes, the corrosion rate of titanium finned tubes in seawater, acidic or alkaline environments is as low as 0.1mm/year, and the service life can be extended by 5-10 times.

Light Weight
The density of titanium is only 4.51 g/cm³, which means that at the same size, our heat exchanger finned tubes are only about half the weight of stainless steel or copper tubes. This feature not only reduces the cost of transporting and installing titanium finned tubes, but also reduces the load on the supporting structure.

High Strength
The tensile strength of titanium materials can reach 345-480 MPa, which is much higher than many commonly used metals. This high strength property enables our heat exchanger finned tubes to withstand higher working pressures and temperature fluctuations, making them very suitable for use in deep-sea oil and gas extraction or chemical reactors.
